The Elysium

Set on an outstanding beach, the stylish resort can cater for receptions in a choice of elegant, comfortable halls and rooms, for between 16 and 100 guests. For couples with a feel for history, the hotel is close to a Unesco World Heritage Site, the underground Tombs of the Kings, carved out of solid rock and dating between the 4BC and 3AD. A wedding here really will be a 5 star experience.
Firstly to choose from an array of beautiful venue choices to say 'i do';
Orpheus Amphitheatre - With views of the sea and sunset, this ancient style amphitheater can hold up to 90 persons seated outdoors. The ceremony is held under a beautiful white wedding gazebo. A ceremonial table with white skirting and cushions for your guests to sit on are provided. Choose to make your entrance down a white or red carpet laid on the central steps.
Atrium - Located in the library section of the hotel. This is an indoor venue and offers a nice semi private venue to hold your ceremony. Looking at the Atrium you can see the different stages of the history of Cyprus this setting is a unique and one of a kind venue. This area can accommodate a ceremony or cocktail reception for up to 90 people. Dressed with white chair covers, ceremony table and a red or white carpet.
Chapel - Situated at the front of the hotel the chapel can comfortably hold 30 guests seated inside for a religious service or alternatively say your vows outside with the quaint and traditional stone chapel as the perfect backdrop with your guests seated outside. Make your grand entrance to the alter with a white or a red carpet. A ceremonial table with white skirting and dressed chairs for the guests are provided.
The Sunset Pier - The location of the pier above the waters of the Mediterranean Sea makes it a breath taking scene especially at sunset for your intimate ceremony. Standing ceremony and cocktail for up to 20 people.
Cocktail reception venues include the Library terrace, Oprheus Amphitheatre, Olive trees and Atrium. Venues fees for all apply with different menus available.
Continuing your celebrations you have the the following venues to choose from for your dinner reception.
The Messina Hall - The beauty of this room is the sense of intimacy it delivers with the interior design featuring classical wall arches inset with antique gold mirrors, there is also a paneled effect roof and marble flooring. For your special day the Messina Hall offers you a quality space that fits those whose desire is for a smaller, but still very attractive venue. Set menus and mezes available. Up to 50 people. Dressed with chairs and and covers. Music until 00:00.
The Basilica Foyer - This indoor venue with its Byzantine incorporated elements is ideally suited for private events up to 50 persons. Dressed with chairs and white linen. Set menus and meze options available. Music until 00:00.
The Basilica Ballroom - A spacious pillar-free function hall with a private entrance. The hall’s exceptional design resembles an arcade basilica with an old Byzantine tapestry motive woven into the carpet. Having a wedding abroad does not mean compromising on grandeur in this venue! It can be sub divided into 3 smaller rooms and is ideally suited for small receptions to up to 376 guests. Dressed with chairs and linen. Buffet menus. Music until 00:00.
The Mediterraneo Taverna - Only a few steps away from the sea you can enjoy the open kitchen and the traditional wooden furniture that enhance this inviting restaurant’s ambience. A place where traditional décor is combined with a touch of class. White table linen and rustic chairs included. Set menu, buffet and meze options available. Up to 120 people maximum. Music until 23:00.
The Sunset Pier and the Seafront Venue are also available by request from June to October only. For more information and pricing speak to our weddings team.
Drinks packages available for both cocktail reception and dinner reception with many options available for both. Canapes and finger food also available. The hotel has many options available for dining. From sit down menus, mezes and buffets. Each depending on numbers and the reception venue that is chosen. Pricing starting from 64 euro person*. Children's option and special dietary requirements also available. Please speak to our weddings team for more details on menus and options.
Ceremony only is not available and cocktail reception and/or dinner reception must also be booked.
Venue set up is as per the above, of course we can dress the venue as you require. Additonal fees will apply. External suppliers are not permitted in the hotel, however we can arrange for you entertainment, beauty treatments and much more. Speak to our weddings team for more information and we can arrange this directly with the hotel for you.
