The weather during the months of May, June, September and October are perfect in Kefalonia. The temperatures are a little cooler (27 C in June compared to 29 C in July and August), prices are a little lower, and there aren’t as many people on holiday during these months either.

Airports/flights: We fly from numerous UK airports to Kefalonia Airport. Flights take around 3 hours, 30 minutes from Gatwick.

Bus: There are local buses connecting the main villages. You can get to almost any point on Kefalonia - even remote beaches, villages, and monasteries - by KTEL bus. 

Taxi: For those who don't enjoy driving twisting mountain roads, taxis are the best alternative, but you should negotiate the fare prior to commencing the journey.

Car: An excellent way of getting around during Kefalonia holidays, car hire gives you complete flexibility.

Boat: There are boat connections with the neighbouring islands (CorfuIthacaLefkada) as well as the mainland (Patras, Igoumenitsa and Kyllini) from Argostoli, Sami and Poros.
