Argaka is a small traditional Cypriot farming village, situated on the coast, just 7kms north of Polis. Its location makes it the ideal place to just sit back and relax.

Description

The settlements of Argaka has two parts. There is Pano Argaka (Upper) and Kato Argaka (Lower). Upper Argaka represents the old settlement while Lower Argaka, which followed the Polis – Pomos – Nicosia road, is the new settlement. The houses of the old settlement are mostly traditional, made with hewed limestone or with igneous pebbles  built  a slope with a road that connects with the new settlement by the sea.

The village features a selection of shops, supermarkets and banks, to satisfy all visitor’s needs while on holiday.

 This part of the island is very fertile and has an abundance of fruit trees including figs, grapes, prickly pears, apples, oranges and lemons.
